EQUI SEINE returns to the Rouen Exhibition Centre from 19 to 22 November 2026 for its 26th edition. The Jumping International de Rouen brings together international riders, owners, professionals from the equestrian sector, exhibitors, partners and a specialist audience over four days.

For spectators, the focus is the sport. For an exhibitor, sponsor, owner or business team, the challenge is also operational: how do you organise a four-day stay without splitting the group across different bookings, locations and schedules? This guide brings together the information confirmed so far and the points worth checking before arranging the trip.

Why a four-day event needs more planning than a one-night stay

EQUI SEINE Organisation is an association created in 1999 to organise international show jumping competitions. The organiser presents the Rouen event as a four-day competition with several classes counting towards world rankings. Previous editions have welcomed riders including Eric Navet, Philippe Rozier, Grégory Wathelet, Julien Epaillard, Kevin Staut and Pénélope Leprévost.

Rouen Tourism currently announces around 220 riders, 400 horses and more than 40 exhibitors for 2026. Public institutional pages do not yet give a perfectly consistent total for the number of competitions, with some references stating 16 and others 18. Until the final sporting programme is published by the organiser, this guide treats the confirmed four-day format as the useful planning fact rather than presenting a disputed total as definitive.

That distinction matters for professional travel. A team should plan around confirmed operating information, not a copied programme from an earlier edition.

How the Parc Expo is organised

The Rouen Exhibition Centre is located at 46-48 avenue des Canadiens in Le Grand-Quevilly. EQUI SEINE currently publishes the following layout:

  • Hall 1: competition arena and entertainment;
  • Halls 2 and 3: Salon Normand du Cheval;
  • Hall 5: Salon des Métiers du Cheval et de la Filière Équine, including the educational village.

This makes the event more than a sequence of sporting classes. It combines competition, exhibition and professional activity around the equestrian sector.

For exhibitor teams, public opening hours are therefore only part of the schedule. Set-up, accreditation, stand preparation and closing procedures may create different arrival and departure requirements. Those details should be confirmed directly with the organiser once the final exhibitor information is issued.

Getting to the Rouen Exhibition Centre

EQUI SEINE states that public parking is free. The Parc Expo itself refers to 4,200 parking spaces shared with the Zénith area.

The Astuce public transport network serves the Zénith and Parc Expo sector with the T4, F6 and F9 lines. EQUI SEINE also refers to the Noctambus night service.

For Rouen Rive Droite railway station, official sources give slightly different estimates. EQUI SEINE indicates approximately 20 minutes, while the Parc Expo refers to around 25 minutes. Traffic and the chosen transport mode will affect the real journey, so a business team catching a train should keep a sensible margin rather than treating either estimate as a guaranteed transfer time.

Who benefits most from shared accommodation?

A private house is not the best solution for every participant. A rider whose priority is staying as close as possible to the sporting operation may prefer an official or nearby hotel. EQUI SEINE already has a dedicated hotel section and currently presents a partnership with ACE Hôtel Rouen Parc des Expositions.

Shared accommodation becomes more relevant when the group gains value from staying together. Typical cases include:

  • an exhibitor team working to the same event schedule;
  • owners or their entourage attending several days of competition;
  • sponsors or partners travelling as a small delegation;
  • a business team that needs to brief and debrief together;
  • commercial staff who prefer one group base to several separate reservations.

The main benefit is not simply the number of beds. It is less fragmentation: one address, shared spaces and fewer moving parts for the person coordinating the stay.

Hotel or private house: how to decide

The right choice depends on the way the group operates.

A hotel close to the venue will usually make more sense if immediate proximity is the overriding priority, if participants have very different timetables, or if everyone needs to manage their room independently.

A fully private house can make more sense when the value comes from shared time: a briefing before leaving, dinner together, preparation for the next day, informal discussion or simply avoiding a team being distributed across different floors and bookings.

Before choosing, compare five practical questions:

  1. What is the real transport plan to and from the Parc Expo?
  2. How many separate bedrooms does the team need?
  3. Does the group need shared working or dining space?
  4. How much independence is needed for meals and working hours?
  5. Which option is simpler for the person responsible for the trip?

This comparison prevents a common purchasing mistake: looking only at the headline room price while ignoring the operational cost of coordinating the group.

When La Demeure des Dix can be a relevant option

Located in Elbeuf-sur-Seine, La Demeure des Dix accommodates up to 10 registered guests in 5 bedrooms. The house is fully private. Each bedroom has a desk and a screen, while the large dining table can be used for a briefing, a shared meal or preparation for the following day.

This configuration is most relevant for a group that wants to stay together while keeping individual space for sleeping or working. The private heated swim spa and enclosed garden add comfort to the stay, but for a professional trip the primary value is more practical: one coherent base for the group.

Only registered guests are permitted at the property. Parties and receptions are not allowed. The property does not provide accommodation for horses.

How many nights should a team plan for?

EQUI SEINE runs from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 November. A team attending the full event can therefore build its stay around those four days. An arrival on 18 November may make sense for exhibitors or teams that need to prepare before opening, but that depends on their actual accreditation and set-up schedule.

There is no single ideal stay length. Start with the team's real operating timetable, then choose the number of nights that avoids rushed arrivals, unnecessary hotel changes or an early departure before the work is finished.
